Fly casting course for beginners

How the course works:
We start with a short and simple theory session in the store, before heading to Limavatnet for hands-on casting practice and guidance. The general instruction and theory will be held in English. However, individual guidance and one-on-one feedback can of course be given in Norwegian if preferred.

1. Buy equipment before the course:
Get in touch with us in advance, and we’ll arrange a session with instructor Kenneth Solli. He’ll help you find the right rod and reel. As a participant, you’ll get at least the course fee (NOK 650,-) as a discount when purchasing a setup from BUAS Outdoors.
2. Borrow equipment on the course day:
We provide everything you need! If you decide to buy afterwards, you’ll still get the same great offer.
- Already have your own gear? Bring it along – it’s the best way to learn with what you’ll actually use later.
- Remember to dress according to the weather – we’ll be outdoors for a while.
